Reflection of the textbook

The English Bounce 3 student Book.

In English Bounce 3, we couldn't find any material related to Chilean culture, but the material used in this textbook is useful and understandable for students. The four skills are covered, but first the writing and listening are used at the beginning of the textbook and then complementing with listening/reading and reading/speaking.

Most of the textbook is based on activities using grammar and vocabulary, using appropriate visual materials. The student's book has a workbook that students can use in their house to develop own learning strategies and become independent in their learning.

The English Bounce 3 is a textbook that the Ministry of Education delivered in Chilean schools, but we would like to find out more materials, topics and vocabulary related to Chilean culture

In our opinion the English Bounce 3 textbook is a good material to introduce new vocabulary in children. It is useful textbook children in third grade, as a way to introduce them in a new subject, like English as a second language. This textbook has a systematic coverage of the syllabus, so teachers can use it as guidance in the student's learning process. It is also important to recognize that the workbook instructions are explained in Spanish for parents' understanding. So, they can actively participate in their learning development
